Hope from the Hills

Briefly In Passing

Shakespeare said, “Brevity is the soul of wit.”  If so, chemotherapy may be the soul of brevity.  At least it is making today’s blog shorter.

Hats off to Jimmy Adcox, Jay Jarboe and Phil Claycomb for the excellent articles and resources they have posted on MentorNetwork over the past month – on “church planting.”  Thank you so very much.

Excellent stuff on an incredibly important movement.

Check out today’s front-page article – then go to the archives to read the previous four.  Maybe you might want to download these and give copies to the leaders of your church.  Or maybe even circulate them to your address list.  These articles deserve widest possible exposure.

And be sure to check out Tool Box for some top flight, practical tools on various aspects of Church Planting.

One more thing:  post responses at the end of the articles or post church planting questions on Swap Shop – to get some tips from seasoned church planters.

These are great days,

Lynn Anderson
