You’ve heard it. Maybe you’ve said it yourself. “No two fingerprints are the same. You are unique.” We encourage our children and each other to explore the uniqueness that is “us” and live out of that uniqueness. Funny then, that when it comes to leading our churches, we attempt to photocopy someone else’s fingerprint. The latest seminar or the newest book from a church that has grown rapidly offers us a vision we can “plug and play” back home.
But what if, instead of copying another’s vision, you started with what God has already placed in your church? What if there is something unique that—if left undiscovered or under-emphasized—will diminish what God wants to do through you? That is the premise behind Church Unique, Will Mancini’s book and process on discovering vision, implementing it, and delivering it daily.
